So I've heard. Besides the obvious (NIL), what's the draw for kids to ISU? Metcalf?

My apologies. The compliance packets that we receive apparently haven't been updated with the new regulations. The point still stands about contacting recruits that aren't yet in the portal. It's 100% against NCAA regulations.
I think you'd be surprised what is allowed under the court order. They don't call it the wild west for nothing. Hell, heavy rumors about Figs from ASU to Iowa, and he is both rostered with ASU and not in the portal.
I guess thats why there's rumors about an active NCAA investigation.
Fine, but then stop displaying Gilman's medal. Don't profit off his success if you won't let him in the building. Iowa wanted it both ways.

Well they reached out to get the medal and bury the hatchet and after the medal was on display other things happened.
Word is ASU has had a hard time keeping the NIL promises that were made. Remember Schultz hitting the portal then taking his name off and staying. Sometimes you gotta do that to get what you deserve

A thought just popped into my head. Had the singlet pull not happened, DT is still here, and Iowa gets Ross, Jax, Bassett, and let's say Vegas for good measure?

I know everyone is saying he has decided to go all in on wrestling, but let's wait until after his senior season. I think a number of big programs come calling with NIL as well. 18 year olds have been known to change their minds. His football injury was also a shoulder. He seems to have healed just fine but shoulders and wrestling aren't friends. He just may not face anyone good enough to wrench that shoulder for a while.

That's 5-5 on paper with bonus points deciding it. I could see Spartley and Hendrickson getting bonus. I could see Ayala and Parco getting bonus. Maybe Jamison and Buchanan can bonus but Cullan kept from getting bonused against VomBaur. Plott is the favorite but Angelo athleticism could give him fits. If Angelo pulls off the upset Iowa will win the dual.
So 5-5 but no bonus for Iowa is interesting. Ayala would be my 1st pick to bonus for Iowa.
Hamiti is Oklahoma State’s 2nd most likely bonus, and I think barring injury we need to start looking at heavy as a 5 point minimum not just a major.
I don't see Hamiti majoring Nelson. Hwt could be a tech but Kerk didn't tech him he's beat him 9-1 and 12-2. In 66 college matches Nelson has been majored once by Kane at NCAA. He wasn't majored by Carter, Mekhi, Labriola or Hayden Hidlay.
You confirming Nelson back? If so that puts bonus at 33% likelihood, still higher than 125.
Kerk didn’t need a tech to win a dual and Kerk isn’t a pinner. I put 5/6 points likelihood at 50% there.
When Angelo beats Plott the dual might be out of reach at HWT as well
This should be a good match, Carver is always good for 3pts.+ for the home field advantage.. I just don't think Okie will pull this one off..
