PSU wins 7 of 10 weights (as currently favored) and picks up 10 bonus to the Pokes 3..... Add it all up and you have a 31-12 final.

This thing is AT OK State, right? I appreicate all the optimism but from examining the common opponents and considering all the intangibles, this feels like a very close match.

We'll know soon enough.

Wrestling doesn't have the same impact home crowd impact on every team that football does. PSU wrestlers feed off the emotion of the fans when in opponents land and seem to like it. Watching them in Iowa and OSU were both 15K opposing crowds but had zero impact.

This will be an exciting match and while I expect our men to win I never cross any team off until its in the bag. Okie has a great team and will potentially make it interesting yet our firepower is spread across the board and we have few weak spots. We will do well and prove our position in the world of college wrestling doing so in an exciting manner. Not like the painT drying fashion some teams employ as they stall there way into 3-2 matches. I love watching our men hustle and attack.

I probably should have added that the home advantage wasn't about affecting us but more about ramping up okie st. They'll be the underdog and the home crowd will be charged up. I've seen enough matches (hardly an expert) to know that calls sometimes favor the home team... a little vig here, an upset there, and it gets close... and that's where intangibles come into play.

We might well clean the floor with them... but I'm thinking something a good bit closer. I'd prefer you guys were right and we take them down early and foten.. and put it away fast.,
