If Ed could get by Herbert he would meet the winner of Dake v DT in my opinion.

Last we saw DT dominated ER. Last we saw yet another DT loss to Dake. That's like 2 dozen in row right....

Conventional wisdom would indicate Kid Dynamite being the Olympic option if Herbert stumbles.

I think KD is in taylors head, and I think DT knows ER too well to loose to him. However, I may just be inclined to accept a gentleman's bet should ER and KD square off.

In his head, plus I think Dake's strength creates problems for Taylor as well.

I think Ed has a better chance of beating Dake...Dake is NOT in Ed's head at all..As a matter of fact Ed Ruth ALWAYS steps up in big matches !!!! I am telling everyone right now if Ruth wrestles Dake he will beat him...Word is Ed has been training really HARD.....That means TROUBLE for all the others....He was not training hard when he last wrestled Taylor and even David will admit it....

I agree with Spyker and I think Ed is a bad match up for KD. Ed has both length and strength that would be hard for KD to overcome. KD could prove me wrong but if I were a betting man I would put my money on Ed.

This thread is based on the supposition that Herbert might not be at 100%. But suppose that's not the case. I think Dake would also have his hands full with Herbert if he's healthy and ready to go. We shall see very soon.

Case in point.... Last year I had every winner from the sweet 16 on and won my NCAA pool easily. This year I used the same logic and was done on Friday.

Math is only as good as the person using it I heard once.

LOL, so true.

If there was a formula that would work every year, then it would be out there, and everybody would be picking the same teams (well, except for the diehards fans of ABC Univ.).

I have an approach that has enabled me win 4 NCAA March Madness pools over the past 20 years. That's a pretty good track record. In the BWI pool this year, you were able to make 2 entries. I used my trusty approach on one, and an entirely different approach on the other. My trusty approach was done after the 1st round. My new approach had only 3 loses in the first round, and it enabled me to tie for the win of the BWI pool.

So which approach will win next year? If I knew that, I'd have retired a long time ago.
