Was the introduction of about 15 Penn State athletes who played in the Olympic Games. I believe one gentleman played in the 1948 games among others. It was great to see them (young and old) recognized on the field, including one athlete from the para olympics.
There were also some short videos of former players - Robinson, Barkley, Gesecki, Mauti, McSorely, and several others encouraging the team and fans on. And the introduction of Bo Nichol on the field was another good moment.
. The atmosphere was really special and it was a great night at Beaver Stadium. I can’t think of any other venue that does it better.
