Imagine all the extra practice time and game experience against high level competition some of these teams could accumulate. Add in conference championship games and possibly an increase to an 8 team playoff and you're adding 3 games a year to a schedule vs. your average bowl eligible team. Make the finals 3 out of 4 years (a long shot, but not out of the question) and a player could be getting close to another extra season's worth of games out of their college career.
