A young driver ran a stop sign at a high rate of speed and broadsided our van. She ruined our lives. After 6 months of trying to convince Drs in Hawaii that she was seriously injured we took her to California. She has been treating at Stanford and UCSF. She cannot walk without assistance. She has not attended school for a year. She has a massive concussion. Nerve damage of the hip and wrist. Our emergency fund is starting to evaporate. She has had 6 surgeries already and more to come. I was also severely injured but I am about 90 percent. The stress is really taking a toll on my wife and myself.
