My last stop in the west is in Corvallis. Oregon State hasn't gotten around to updating their roster or their schedule yet.

125 – Bresser (Sr) <Henley, OR>

Ronnie Bresser returns for his final season at Oregon State. He went 25-6 overall and placed 7th from the 9 seed last season. Bresser also qualified in 2016, going to the round of 12 from the 11 seed and in 2015, going 2-2. Bresser and I combined have a total of 0 loses to Spencer Lee.

133 – Turner (Jr) <Dixon, CA>

Devan Turner went 10-16 as the starter last season. He had one win against a qualifier, Rico Montoya (Northern Colorado).

141 – Willits (Fr) <Pueblo County, CO>

Grant Willits went 6-4 during his redshirt season (no wins against qualifiers). Jack Hathaway went 21-14 last season and didn’t qualify for the tournament. He did qualify in 2017 (going 2-2) and 2015 (going 0-2).

149 – Reyes (Sr) <David Douglas, OR>

Josh Reyes took over the starting spot midway through the season and went 10-5 overall and didn’t qualify for the tournament. He had one win against a qualifier, Khristian Olivas (Fresno State). Kurt Mode (Jr) began last season as the starter and went 7-11 overall.

157 – Willits (So) <Pueblo County, CO>

Hunter Willits went 18-16 overall and 0-2 in the tournament as a true freshman. He upset Coleman Hammond and Paul Fox in the Pac-12 championships to grab a spot in the tournament.

165 – Green (Jr) <Orting, WA>

Fred Green went 11-14 as the starter @157 for Virginia last season. He’s at his 3rd school in 3 years (he was the starter @157 for Boise State in 2017). Rodney Williams finished last season as the starter going 2-12 overall.

174 – Terry (So) <St. Helens, OR> or McLeod (Jr) <Post Falls, ID>

Myles Terry went 10-16 overall (6-6 in duals) last season as a true freshman and didn’t qualify for the tournament. Seth McLeod went 9-7 overall (2-4 in duals) @184 last season.

184 – Coleman (Jr) <Hermiston, OR> or McLeod (Jr)

Bob Coleman went 19-11 (1-4 in duals) last season and didn’t qualify for the tournament (no wins against qualifiers).

197 – Griego (Sr) <Sultana, CA>

Three-time qualifier Corey Griego returns for his final season with the Beavers. He went 21-7 overall and 0-2 from the 11 seed last season (1-2 in 2017 and 1-2 in 2016).

Heavy – Dhesi (Sr) <Burnaby Central, Canada> or ?

Oregon State hasn’t released their 18/19 roster yet and I haven’t seen anything definitive on whether or not Dhesi will be taking advantage of the 6th year of eligibility. Amar Dhesi is a 2-time AA, placing 3rd last season and 5th in 2016 (he went 2-2 in 2014). If he doesn't start, no one sticks out from the rest of the options at Heavy.

Oregon State finished 21st with 26 points last season. Their ability to match or beat that result this season is entirely dependent on whether or not Dhesi wrestles. Besides Dhesi, Oregon State returns their other AA and both of their other 2 qualifiers from last season.

I was too chicken to do a search on Beaver pictures.

While I always enjoy and am educated by your write ups, I find myself disappointed by the lack of a good beaver pic. After ASU, I thought this was going to be a classic!:(

Can't remember exactly but Oregon had a Fargo singlet a few years ago that got banned for beaver placement and a funny slogan

Here it is.

Was banned for the lumberjack's "I <3 beaver" tat on the front, and the "beaver stretcher" truck on the back.

Goes to show how little that I get out and/or watch movies. I just learned now that that was a line from a movie.
