Pretty interesting Collica, Rogers, and Crutchmer all lost
Very trueAnd this similar result can easily happen to the Pokes in the quarters at NCAAs.
That likely puts Sorenson in Retherfords semi at NCAA. Collica and Mayes 2-3
Generally does. The year they truly pushed hard for the title they blitzed everything in their path through the consci/placement matches. Even with that damn near perfect consolation wrestling, a bad man named Q rode in to the rescue. And this similar result can easily happen to the Pokes in the quarters at NCAAs.
He tweeted at 6:15, that he was ready to go. Must've tweaked an ankle stepping off the scale.OT, but PD3 did not wrestle again tonight.
Are the Pokes fading? Hope the Nits go to Stillwater and apply some pain. What A tour this year.
Minneapolis 33-6
Lincoln 27-14
Iowa City 26-11
Madison 33-11
Columbus
Stillwater ???
Mayes beat Collica, 9-7
Lavallee beat JoJo, 6-1. Wow.
Lewis beat Rogers, 11-10. Had to be a heckuva match.
Wisman beat Crutchmer, 4-1.
Weigel is good, but Cox demolished him 12-2.
Heil only beat Eierman, 8-6.
This thread is funny and there is similar on ours.
First off, guns: The dual was in Columbia. If things hold I would imagine Collica stays at 2, but 2 or 3 doesn't matter.
Second, other than the crutchmer loss nothing was crazy. Collica and Rogers both lost to highly ranked guys that could have gone either way.
Third, Crutchmer drops matches, it is what it is.
Fourth, seems like something is up with Smith, he has been very inactive on his feet which is not like him, but still it's not like he lost to a nobody.
Finally, this is going to be an exciting nationals, you all have a bunch of beasts and 1.5 holes, OSU should do well at every weight and contrary to popular opinion have a lot of guys who push for and achieve bonus.
Nice win tonight!
That seems subjective that the pokes should do well at every weight, I don't define well as Rd 12 or low AA, we won't be threatened by them. If we get them in a dual we take at least 8 and I will go full bore crazy and pick jimmy over deanThis thread is funny and there is similar on ours.

I thought he had been assigned the Hodge?OT, but PD3 did not wrestle again tonight.
HIs Dad gave it to him, before the season started.I thought he had been assigned the Hodge?
PD3, Patrick Downey, is the son of PD2. He is also this year's Hodge winner, bestowed upon him all over the interwebs, but particularly here: http://cyclonefanatic.com/forum/threads/the-dean-hodge-breaker.224857/page-3#post-5546158Lol. I am afraid to ask this question.....who is PD3?

In a PSU v OSU showdown, I'd assume OSU would only be favored in 33, 41, and 97. We would certainly appear to be the clear #1 at this point.
Hell winning by "only" two points is pretty typical. That's his MO - win by a point or two, maybe be. But he is very good at it.
Okie State favored at those three weights, and a toss-up at 165.
