has a player ruined a team's season more then Burfict has done to the Steelers this season?

Ben, Bell, and Brown all knocked out by him.

Ugh....

And was it Burfict or Pacman who thought Antonio was faking it?
Thugs.

Pacman Jones said Brown was faking it. He said he'd apologize if Brown ended up not playing against the Broncos.

I will definitely hold my breath waiting for that apology. Screw Cincy and Burfict. The only silver lining is the most miserable offseason possible losing yet another playoff game in the fashion they did.

Any word on Roethlisberger? Last I heard he wasn't practicing or throwing much.

Burfict is certainly a dirty player but the Steelers have had more than their fair share of cheat shot artists who took pride in knocking opponents out of a game. I never heard Steelers fans complaining then.

And it was all touched off by an illegal hit by Shazier that knocked Bernard out of the game, but Shazier still playing....funny, and a touch hypocritical, how you forgot to mention that "thug behavior".

Did he get fined or suspended? We all know the NFL loves to do that on even the most questionable of hits, whether flagged or not.

IT WASN'T ILLEGAL. YOU ARE WRONG. ACCEPT IT.

It absolutely was illegal under both Rule 12-2-8 and 12-2-6I (not only illegal and clear Personal Foul under two separate rules, but subject to potential ejection from the game!). Shazier's "thug behavior" after the illegal hit as Bernard laid motionless on the ground was equally disgusting and disgraceful. Many of you "Stiller" fans are quite the hypocrites glorifying and praising Shazier's "thug behavior" while ranting about Bengal players' actions...

Really? The NFL has admitted that the Stillers Asst Coach should not have been on the field, especially after he was asked to return to sideline AND THEN even lingered jawing with Bengals players AFTER Brown had gone to the sidelines! Again, the League has admitted the coaches presence on the field, especially contravening the Officials instructions to remove himself, was illegal and could be fined, but at this point they have not decided whether to fine him or not.

This kind of obsessive rant over several days hurts your credibility.

You have long since expressed your opinion and supported it with references to the rules. Many others have disagreed and also supported their position; no flags were thrown on Shazier; nor has there been a fine, suspension, or public comment about it. There is no reason to continue to post the same stuff about this play.

If Shazier's hit was "illegal," then why wasn't it flagged? Hint, because the receiver wasn't defenseless and lowered his head after/as Shazier launched himself. Stop embarrassing yourself.

Rule 200-20-10 states that anyone who continues to wine about the same thing for more than 20 posts should be banned and should also be subject to being put in a rubber room....ala the Green Mile...jeez...does anyone on this board bitch more about things he can't control than this jackass.

*YAWN*

You're still wrong, FRTT. Fans from many teams are posting the same thing here. It was a legal hit. You're wrong. Deal with it. Jesus!

Was not a legal hit and was textbook Spearing as anyone who actually knows the rules and has seen the play knows (Shazier lowering his head such that the crown of his helmet was the first point, and focal point, of his contact unequivocally identifies it as clear "Spearing"). Too claim that hit was remotely legal or condone Shazier's "thug behaviour" after the clearly illegal hit is not only hypocritical, but disgraceful and disgusting. Nothing Shazier did is worthy of anything but derision.

And I would bet a months pay that the hit was reviewed by the league office a hundred times and NO FINE WAS LEVIED!!! Therefore it was a LEGAL HIT!!!

Just because you continue to repeat something that is wrong does not mean that all of the rest of us who saw it will begin to agree with you. If fact, just the opposite. Not only will I continue to disagree, I will also begin (already started) to question your mental health. This was so obvious a clean, football hit that I'm shocked you still cling to your bizarre delusions.

Seek help. Now.

Illegal "Spearing" forbidden under rules 12-2-8 and 12-2-6i have zero to do with the "Defenseless Receiver Rule", Rule 12-2-7. That is an entirely separate rule and has zilch to do with the referenced rules Shazier did violate. Nice try at obfuscation though.

Franklin...if this shit really bothers you go an send your objections to Goodell. I am sure he has an email address. You obviously don't get that practically no one on this thread agrees with you...yet you still waste space by posting your drivel. Go get some help. Or better yet....why don't you levy a $50k fine on Shazier...maybe he will be dumb enough to send you a check...

Take it up with the commissioner..... man, you keep harping this in every thread like some evil energizer bunny. Come on already.... you have made your opinion known. Unfortunately, the NFL doesn't agree with you. sheesh...

Here's the difference Shazier doesn't have the reputation of a dirty player who gets find regularly for his thug play. He quietly goes about his business.

Really? You must have missed his disgraceful celebration of his intentional illegal cheapshot as Bernard laid on the ground motionless. Then he took his celebration to the sidelines after he left the field and Bernard was still laying there (ultimately had to be carted off field never to return). I guess you and I have a different definition of "quietly going about his business" - he was the dimetric opposite of being the humble player you claim he was....Shazier acted like a complete embarrassing thug after the international illegal, headhunting Spear - you Stillers yinzers are quite the hypocrite "spinners" of reality.

well I'm not sure we were watching the same game because the game I saw Shazier after the tackle picked up the ball and ran 60 yards the other way because he felt like it was a fumble. But the game you saw had Shazier standing over top of the running back dancing all around in a thug like mannor. Why don't we sit down together and watch the replay and see who's full of shit.

You must mean how he raised his arms on the sideline after running the fumble back, nowhere near Bernard.

You must mean how he raised his arms on the sideline after running the fumble back, no running down the benches or into the locker room.

Shazier's entire celebration consisted of squatting on the field around the 50, waving the ball in his hand left to right twice, then going to the sideline and raising his arms in the air. Such grandstanding.

Shazier acted like a complete embarrassing thug after the international illegal, headhunting Spear

Keep lying Bungles fan. You can't spear someone if you don't leave your feet despite your repeated lies about it.

Maybe you can divulge your wisdom about dirty play and embarrassing behavior re: Burfict using his entire body weight to drive Roethlisberger's body into the ground (blatantly illegal), pushing down on the ball into Roethlisberger's upper chest/shoulder, and swinging his body around to knee Roethlisberger in the shoulder. Then celebrating it.

you Stillers yinzers are quite the hypocrite "spinners" of reality.

Hahahahaha. Your tirade crossed the pathetic border into pathological territory 4-5 days ago. Seek help for your Bungles fan related issues. Wait you said you weren't a Bungles fan, another obvious lie.

Really? Because the Officials were blowing their whistles and waving their arms as soon as Shazier got up with the ball. Based on the Officials actions it was unnecessary for him to run at all (everybody else clearly stopped and nobody even chased classless Shazier in his unnecessary stunt), but even still and after all that unnecessary bull$hit, the cameras showed Shazier come all the way back down the field celebrating like the classless jack@ss he is while Bernard lay on the field the entire time. Then the cameras followed him to the sideline where he continued his antics and then started taunting the Bengal crowd! Yea, he's a real peach of a "humble" character....LMFAO at the hypocrtical spin and characterizations of some of you Stillers fans. Ludicrous glorification of behavior that deserves the diametric opposite simply because "he's the Stiller's thug".

Answer my question above? Why all the vitrol with Shazier and not with Burfict?

err my

And Burfict can go F himself. PoS. If Ben plays we will always have a chance but he will have to be able to throw down field which may not happen. Bryant/Wheaton need to step up huge and they are capable.

Porter did nothing wrong.

Yup, it sucks. Get here and have all these injuries. But that is life in the NFL, and why it helps to get the home field and one week bye.

And Shazier didn't even get fined so apparently the NFL didn't see anything wrong with it.
