My wife wears a non-precious metal wedding band for gardening, the gym, housework, etc and I have a tungsten carbide wedding band that I wear all the time. We both are interested in some sort of silicone or rubber ring that would be better suited for everyday use. Obviously there are online sellers, but would prefer to try on a few sizes and styles. Anyone have recommendations?

Kohl's, Walmart, Dick's Sporting goods seem to advertise them when I google "silicone wedding bands near me".

Your local higher-end jewelry store. Better selection, higher quality and they likely have a replacement program.

Not the info you're looking for, but take care with certain chemicals.
Oils, fuels, transmission fluid, acetone and some others don't get along with silicone.

I'm not saying if you spill some gas on your hand your ring is going to disintegrate. But repeated or prolonged exposure wouldn't be good.

If you use one of these, please consult a dr immediately if your finger turns purple or stands straight up for 4 hrs.

ThunderFit rings on Amazon. The thing with silicon rings in general is thy they stretch out over time. The first one I ever got was an “expensive” Qalo ring. Within 5-6 months it was a little stretched out. I found the ThunderFit brand and have stuck with them for about 2 years. They come in singles or in packs and are considerably cheaper than some more well known brands while feeling and looking the same.

Thanks, but we want a local place to try on the rings.

I think you two are ready for the permanent commitment - tattoo wedding bands.

Got mine at Dick's. They had a sizing ring and all different kinds of colors, patterns and sizes. I wear mine more than my actual ring cuz of the gym.
