Don't like it, my CD ROM drive isn't seen and everytime I restart and open up Fire Fox it asks me is I want to use it as a default browser, even when I uncheck the box.

I've noticed some changes. Computer slower when starting and moving laptop between devices. I get an error message every time I unplug or plug my laptop into a different outlet, but doesn't seem to affect performance. It also doesn't know what to do with some applications, but I think I have the slow start-up figured out and it is adjusting to how I like things.

Cd rom is probably a driver issue not a win10 issue update the driver if there is one available for win10

I have installed it on all 5 of the PC/laptops in my home. Works great, performance is better than W8.1 and much better than W7. I upgraded from 3 W8.1 machines and 2 old v7 machines all have at least 4 GB of ram.
A few nice features I like a lot: Edge browser is as fast or faster than Google Chrome with some very nice features. Cortina is great for finding things. Apps work in sizable windows. Start uses the best of W7 and W8.

Waiting a few more months, although I am encouraged by there being no major bugs reported. My laptop and desktop are cloned as far as files, programs etc, so I'll do one, then the other a month or so later, just for insurance...

I had Windows 10 for three days. It was so slow. It was awful. I went back to Windows 8 and even though there are things I don't like about 8,I m glad to be rid of 10.

I changed the settings for start-up and changed some other settings so there aren't as many programs running in the background. My computer is much faster now. Since it is new, there aren't a lot of forums on how to address issues, but they are beginning to appear.

Better the devil you know...
Now that you have adjusted to the idiosyncrasies of your current system, what life-changing benefits will come from upgrading? Bragging rights to be the first on your block?
Ultimately, it will be necessary.
But at least wait they release the first major service pack - let others do the final stage of beta testing.

I'm still using XP on my main PC. Of course I'm still using Office 97 as well. Won't upgrade until I get a new PC, hoping to milk my current one until I retire in 2 years.

Much better than Windows 8.1! Faster, more like the Desktop you use to know!
New browser (Edge) much better than predecessor, but I still prefer Firefox.

An upgrade is different from a re-install. A lot of people do not upgrade correctly so if you can do a re-install. I re-installed Windows 10 and it is much faster then Windows 8 and I love the new look and feel.

Windows upgrades are worse than useless. Windows 7 made Corel PhotoPaint, for which I recall paying well over $100 (probably $200 or more for Corel's graphics suite) useless, and also caused trouble with MathCAD, which also is very expensive. Windows 8, which came on my tablet, doesn't put you into desktop mode, and is worse than Windows 7. Windows 10 is therefore almost certainly worse than useless trash. There are also very serious privacy issues.

The wife just got a new computer today, with Windows 10 and Edge. Took me a few hours to determine that Comcast Mail doesn't work with Edge--you can log in but you can't open your inbox. Had to download Chrome.
