Stayed at Marriott resort in Lihue. Perfect weather… low 80's, low humidity, no rain, and cool breeze. The helicopter
trip of island was as advertised (although $250/each was a bit steep). Got a round of golf in as well. However spent most of my time at pool/beach
reading 2 books.

I highly recommend both:

(1) The Last Man - final book from the late great Vince Flynn (couldn't put it down)

(2) Lightning Strike - Great book about the story about killing of Yamamoto. Goes into biological background on U.S. and Japanese involved, details of build-up/planning, and follows the incredible wheels-off drama that followed.

Upon leaving I had to fly 12 hours (red-eye) to Boston for meetings. "Snap back to reality…"

Re: Or - Just Maybe - IS He Tom? And Vice-Versa!! *

Think he has a sort of good cop/bad cop thing going on here with the 2 handles? Hmmm?

LOL, good one ...

though my vacation was 10 days (12 days including flying), and it appears that the Rush Chair and I were on other sides of the globe.

Not to date myself but when we took the helicopter ride I think it only cost
$65 a person. That was back in 1984. I rented a video recorder from a local
shop and recorder the ride. No smart phones back then.

By all means. Fit it into your busy schedule and regale us. *
