Was great to see the first eaglet in the nest this morning. I was worried that we might not have viable eggs because they were so late. Hoping to see the second one hatch by tomorrow or Thursday.

Sure didn't look like a trout this morning -- body too tall for the length. Now I'm having the same problem you are.

Don't think it was a trout... Looked fairly tall for a trout and pretty much all silver.

camera seems to be back up now... with 2 fish on far side of the nest... male is out hunting big time. Fish look all silver can't really tell. Don't think they are a small mouth bass....

We've had EAGLE CAM in northeast Iowa for many years. One year the eagle brought back a furry critter with a "PINK COLLAR" around the neck. The camera was turned off for a few days after... or until the pink collar disappeared.
