There are some here who say if you stop giving you are hurting the students. I never bought that argument. The power elite at this University are hurting the students.

Just yesterday I was having a conversation with a friend about the current cost of college tuition. My friend does some consulting work for the U of Delaware and has been asked to teach a 3 credit course as an adjunct professor. He was offered $1500. He politely declined.
I think it's clear what drives the rising cost at our universities today. It ain't professor's salaries.

All while they claim poverty to the state government and are increasing tuition by 3%. Really wish someone in Harrisburg would get a spine and go after Barron when he comes down pleading poverty and demanding more money.
Apparently not. Pennsylvania media will not question those in charge at PSU in even the slightest way.
Why the hell would Sandy Barbour be given a raise? I don't want to get into the like her/ hate her debate. Just based on her (very short) time at PSU- what in the world has she done to deserve a raise to $721,000? Seriously- can someone please give me a reason?
