Fess up...

* How It's Made - when nothing else is on, this is on. Reminds me of the old PCN shows.
* Street Science - Great, though dumbed down a bit sometimes.
* Outrageous Acts of Science - Very good. Smart people splainin' stuff.
* Gold Rush - I only watch to see Todd Hoffman fail and Tony Beets succeed. What happened to Parker's hot Australian GF?
* Barnwood Builders - Nothing not to love about this show.
* Moonshiners - Not as good w/ Tickle on the probation and all. Plus they're brewing water. Still some decent nutcase characters.
* Oak Island - I don't know why I watch. If they found the Holy Grail, I would have heard about it.
* Joe Kenda - I like his rug. And I know a guy that looks just like young Joe Kenda - who I call young Joe Kenda of course.
* Wheeler Dealers - Premise of the show makes no sense from a $$ standpoint, but they do a nice job on the cars. Plus they did a CJ7 one time.
* Overhaulin' - Chip Foose is a force of nature. Watching him draw a design is humbling.
* Good Eats - The only cooking show I look for (other than Giada of course). He's the best.

You a boater??
No. Not at all. But the show is filmed down here. I go out maybe 2 or 3 times a year w/ friends. Pretend to fish, but just drink beer. If I had a boat, it would be a small boat and I'd just anchor it at the beach or the sand bar in the river on a nice day. No fuel and I don't eat fish anyway.

I'll watch Bar Rescue if it's on. I think it's really interesting to see what goes into running a bar and also see how some people who so completely unqualified to do it.

I don't think I watch any other cable shows that aren't dramas.

Interesting that some of you list Below Deck as a show that you watch. A former associate of mine and a few of his friends were guests on one of the episodes in the first season. He came off as quite the jerk on the show. I watched it for a few weeks the first season to see my associate, but couldn't get into the show at all.

My associate became pretty good friends with Captain Lee. An occasional photo of the captain and him would pop up of Facebook every now and then. I think my guy also got into a business venture with Adrienne for a while.

Gold Rush
Bering Sea Gold
Deadliest Catch
Swamp People
American Pickers
Pawn Stars
Mountain Men
Curse of Oak Island (I would watch this Thursday if youv watch this show. This is the week they make the major discovery. If not this week, then next week for sure.)
First 48
Baskets (what a dark, disturbing, occasionally funny show)
Pretty much anything else about WWII

I actually live in the same town as Tim from Moonshiners. Pass his farm everyday on my way to work. He's always in the local parades and stuff..good guy

Colony
Fixer Upper..love this show actually

my favorite was American Muscle with Mike Barwis

how is Mr. Robot? I saw the first episode and it looked good but got distracted. That guy, the lead, was spooky awesome in "The Pacific."

I'm really surprised that I'm the only one who mentioned Naked and Afraid. The show gets great ratings and it's my favorite TV show. Always interesting.

I've watched that show several times. Its like a train wreck. However, I enjoy it but can only wonder what kind of hell those people go through.

Another one I like is Survivorman. But haven't seen it lately.

You can tell TV is in the dead zone right now.

Just my opinion, but it's a little too much for me. Some of the people really suffer and can have illnesses that carry on past the time of the show.

The show is fun to watch but I always wonder how real the suffering and fear is. After all there is a film crew close to the participants at all times. Every adventure is portrayed as being in a remote location. A local woman (from Greensburg, Pa) went to South America on one of the adventures. When she got back she said that her location was very close to a major town and the biggest problem was keeping traffic noises off the sound track!
