OT: Better Call Saul Spoilers.

It might be a good idea to change the title of this thread to Better Call Saul Spoilers.

RIP to Lalo - one of the greatest characters in the BCS/BB world.

Absolutely devastating episode last night. Rhea Seehorn should have sewn up her Emmy if there is any justice at all in the awards universe. This show’s creators remain a notch above everyone else out there in TV. Masterful display.

Saul survived Lalo, Fring, Nacho, Hector, Mike…but can’t survive Carol Burnett!
I’m thinking it might end up anti climatic to me, running up to the start of breaking bad without showing him getting out of town makes it seem disjointed .

I would’ve liked to see just a little of Saul getting the hell out of there at the start of the series maybe one quick scene. Some flash forwards then this.
I did like when Jessie met Kim, it reminded of what a doofus he was initially and how much he grew during BB.

I was also hoping to see an episode where he screws over the Kellermans one last time which results in him taking their Statue of Liberty inflatable and shows the transformation of his office from the nice place his assistant created into the cheesy end result. This could have also shown the downward spiral of his assistant Francesca's personality.

I do assume we'll see something related to him escaping ABQ since they teased the veterinarian's black book in a prior episode which contained the vacuum salesman's business card. At some point I imagine they'll close that teaser and show how Saul takes the book for himself.

I hope so.

Thoughts on the finale? I thought it did a great job of seeing that Jimmy paid a penalty for his actions while also allowing him a tiny bit of redemption in his self-sacrifice for Kim. In the end he used his bullshitting showmanship, all his superpowers, in court to save her. Fitting. Liked the scene with Walt, reminding us that Walt really was an arrogant dick. A very satisfying ending that stayed true to its characters in a show that was all about detailed character development. An awesome achievement overall. I’ll miss it.

You saw Francesca very quickly lose herself early in BCS. She saw what schemers Jimmy and Kim were and quickly knew she could coast at work. There was an early episode where she just started half assing things

Agreed. Wonderful show and finale. I will miss all of the characters.

Between BB, EC, and BCS, this has been a wonderful ride. I would absolutely love another spin on and I don'
t even care what character it would be. I just really like all the characters, heck do a Saul Spin Off in prison and make it a comedy for all I care.
