if you haven't seen the film, then you're out of your element!!

In honor of Big Lebowski's 20th Anniversary, here are some fun trivia questions:

#1 - of all the major cast members, excluding Tara Reid, who has NEVER been nominated for a Golden Globe or Oscar??

#2 - What day is it already, dude?

#3 - What is distinctly odd about the title of the film?

#4 - What minor character is also a Professor at Hogwarts?

#5 - Sam Elliot and Ben Gazzara also appeared in another cult film called . . . ?

#6 - How much is The Dude's check to Ralph's?

#7 - What's the score of Donnie's last roll? (BONUS: what does this signify?)

#8 - Which famous bowling President appears on a poster on the Dude's wall?

#9 - What famous musician actually loses the toe?

#10 - and for the fellas, what porn star appears in "Logjammin'"?

These are pretty good! Sadly, I have no idea about most of them. Here are the ones I'll take a shot at...

1. David Huddleston (the 'other' Lebowski)?
4. David Thewlis?
5. Road House
6. .69 cents
9. Flea?
10. Asia Carerra

Total guess at #3 - the title refers to someone other than the main character?

What was the name of Larry’s father, the man in the iron lung, who Walter was enamored of because he wrote many of the episodes of the old Chuck Connors TV series, Branded? (This was actually a fictitious character).

argh, the kid is Larry Sellers and his dad is something Digby Sellers . . . grrrr first names . . .

That's a great plan, Walter. That's ****ing ingenious, if I understand it correctly. That's a Swiss ****ing watch.

one aspect of the movie I enjoy is the unusual narrative.

f**k spoiler alerts, man. The Supreme Court has roundly rejected prior restraint . . .

If you think about the actual plot of the film . . . The Big Lebowski knows Bunny is missing. He also knows the kidnap plot is bogus (or doesn't care). So he seeks out a stooge to take the fall for a fake ransom hand off.

But The Dude and Walter are SO INCOMPETENT, they screw up being incompetent. brilliant.
