OT: Does any loathe the Patriots as much as I do?

Love them or loathe them, the road to the AFC championship will most likely go through Foxboro.

I'm just so tired of Patriots, patriots, patriots every single year. Been going on way too long and i've always wondered if their fans know how spoiled they are and I wonder how they're going to act in the post-brady era. They literally cannot gripe one bit for the rest of their lives after they've been spoiled for what, 20 years now?

I hate their USFL-ish jerseys. They'd be more likable if Pat the Patriot was still on the helmet.

"Yes we do" - The rest of America

They are the Pitt of the NFL, not in terms of results, because obviously Pitt is a loser program that will never improve. But in terms of the fact that everyone hates them, and nobody understands how someone could cheer for them.

Guys, before you continue to argue, please take this opportunity to remember that it's the nfl and you shouldn't give a shit.

Oh I don't. But it's OK to dislike cheaters, and get their fanboys all riled up!

How can anyone like the nfl enough to be a "fanboy"? It's the nfl. Granted, I hope tom brady soils himself every time he takes the field, but I am not about to argue with people over it. I certainly don't care about any one team enough to defend their honor, if they have any, and argue about it.

You'd think Steeler fans (who are all over this thread) would be more self assured about the threat of the Patriots. Lots of saltiness in this thread.

My Iggles have no Super Bowls (but 3 championships in the Stone Age), and have a legitimate gripe about their spying in our Super Bowl against them, but I'm not going to hate on them. Amazing run they've had and Brady's a bad ass.

Oh, we are more than aware how spoiled we are. I don't think my son fully gets it since he was 2 when this run started. All things are cyclical, the Patriots will have their comeuppance and the NFL world will find a new villain. Who knows, maybe it started last night

Yea I'm sure the Steelers have less of a gripe than the Iggles with the cheaters and Brady definitely is an ass of many types.

who has 2 thumbs and started the Pats D last night in fantasy football??

THIS GUY!

this angry, bitter man . . .

Looks like USA Today wasted a lot of ink yesterday analyzing which game this year could derail the Pats quest for a perfect season.

I am a life long Jets fan going back to Joe Willie's early days. The Jets have to play the Pats twice a season. Sometimes they get lucky and beat them, but more than likely I'm going to end up disappointed. I don't like this but it is my choice that I have chosen to support a cursed franchise whose management has not been smart enough to keep up with New England. You have to give them credit, they have maintained a high level of performance for the last 15 years. It's a problem the entire AFC has had during this period. There have been some pretenders to the throne, but nobody, not even Green Bay during the Lombardi years, has kept their performance level so high. Envy/ jealousy has to turn into respect at some point or you'll never grow up.

Common sense on McAndrew. Who knew? I'm pulling for Hack even though he's on Jets.
