Hey Den members, some of you may recall my posting from Dec 2018 of the SW Florida Eagle cam. It seems there was some interest in that posting , so here again is a link to the same website.
A special note about this link: The two adult eagles, Harriet and M had a clutch of 2 eggs in December 2019. Unfortunately, one of the eggs was not viable, and no hatch occurred. The second egg was hatched and produced an eaglet named E14. Unfortunately, for Harriet and M, E14 passed away.
Something I didn't know, but as is the case in these situations, the female may lay another egg. In this case, Harriet laid a second egg last night. So what we have here is a second clutch, and it will be most interesting to see how things work out for the new clutch and Harriet and M.
