I can't believe there hasn't been a post around here yet. Loved the old BB discussions on this board.
I personally loved it, but I'm so biased by being a BB/BCS geek, that my take shouldn't be taken seriously.
It was awesome seeing skinny Pete and badger again, though I wish we'd gotten more of them. Nice planning running point on Pete's part, helping Jesse get away.
The story answered our big questions of where did Jesse go while he drove off. Great to see Robert Forster back as the vacuum sales guy. My favorite scene by far had to be the flashback to Jesse and Walt after their first cook. Seeing young, cocky Jesse always puts a smile on my face "I totally graduated high school, DICK!"
Only negative I have, and I guess really he couldn't help it, was Todd's sudden obesity in flashbacks. It was somewhat distracting. Though the added elements we saw on Todd's side made his eventual death that much more satisfying.
I also would love to know the contents of Jesse's letter to Brock, but it may be better that it's whatever we make it out to be. All in all, a very satisfying conclusion to the story for me.

There was a thread on here about it...you missed it. The movie was good....I was never that taken with Breaking Bad, so I didn’t have real high expectations for the movie, but it was enjoyable.

I see you're correct. For some reason searching El Camino didn't pull it up, but just Camino did, my bad.

I’d give it about an 8 or 9. Wasn’t what I’d hoped. But it definitely didn’t ruin anything, which was my biggest fear (taking something almost perfect and messing with it often turns into disaster). It tied up the Jesse saga in a more than acceptable way.

The writers of Breaking Bad had two choices which in turn led to two choices in El Camino. We see Jesse free at the end of BB and in El Camino there were two ways the story could end, Jesse free or Jesse not free (in jail or dead). Given that, I think they did an excellent job.

Their choice was bad. Jesse should have been strung up. The character was a POS as was Walter. Their lives were shitty regardless of their wealth but the damage their mania caused deserved gruesome punishments.

The series was well done.

I disagree. Jesse showed remorse and wanted out. He was forced back in. He wasn’t the bad dude Walter was. But even Walter started out with honorable intentions. So I’m fine with this ending.

Did you know Robert Forster passed away just a few days after the money was released . God bless him.
