In the spirit of the pending arrival of Santa Claus this evening, what was the best gift you ever got from the jolly old elf? For me, no question about it, Tudor Games NFL Electric Football with the Miami Dolphins and Washington Redskins. I wanted it so bad, didn't care about which teams it came with, and when it was there under the tree on Christmas morning back in 1973, I was beyond happy. I still remember sitting there with my Street & Smith's NFL Preview magazine looking over the rosters so I could put the right numbers on the players LOL. Still remember coming to the realization that there were only 11 players per team so I had to pick offense or defense... yes, defense wins championships, but offense still won the day for me haha. So what was your favorite gift from St. Nick?
P.S. I planned to sign off from the Den for the next 2 days but since I'm sitting here listening to some Christmas music while my wife is out doing some last minute shopping, well, where else would I go to spend some quiet time?
