One of my favorite 'small movie' roles for Rickman was in Bottle Shock. He portrays English entitlement/snobbery so effortlessly and with such charm you can't help but love the guy. Outstanding movie and great, understated Rickman performance if you haven't seen it...(true story too).

I know this is a thread about Alan Rickman, but I cannot think about Bottle Shock without thinking about Rachael Taylor.

She was the epitome of the Cali farm girl in this film - so beautiful! Has she done anything recently?
Oh, yeah, this may be common knowledge but I'll post this anyway, it's a good story. At the time the first Harry Potter movie came out only three of the books in the series had been printed so JKR had to pull Rickman aside and explain Snape's motivation. So until the last book was printed only two people, Rowling herself and Alan Rickman, knew the whole story.
TV mostly, although not shows that I watched. I find it a bit surprising as I actually think she's a pretty talented actress beyond just her stunning looks. I saw her in a b level movie recently, but it was from several years ago and after she had done transformers and bottle shock. Its like her career never took off and I just don't get it.
Excellent actor......and one of the best bad guys to ever hit the screen. RIP
