Having read most of his books, some more then twice because well most don't even understand what he wrote and to quote it you better know it, etc.

The reason I say he is a hack is because most don't even understand his books for: theme, plot, narration, character development ( this one really throws the stupid into orbit ), etc.

Cormac McCarthy doesn't suck, he is just a hack. There is nothing original in his writing. Entertaining, yes. Genius, no...

Just one example: INCFOM the scene in the hotel makes no logical sense but with out the scene we don't get any ???? believable ????? surrealism that completes the action in the book / movie.

Most of you never read the book, just saw the movie, oh well...

I am personally very fond of bad spelling, bad grammar, bad punctuation, and bad sentence structure in the service of an attack on McCarthy which suggests he is a hack because: 1) people don't read his books; 2) people don't understand his books; and 3) the ending of a movie made from his book fails to satisfy the reviewer. This from a guy who thinks it is very telling about the US that Donald Trump is the frontrunner for the Republican nomination.

I was watching a special on Jon Stewart's departure from the Daily Show and at one point they were talking about Steve Carrell and they said something like, "The combination of his basic stupidity and massive arrogance is extremely funny." Bingo. Nittany America has a big career awaiting him if his literary reviews fail to garner kudos.
