OT: For the Yom Kippers. What foods are you breaking the fast with.

Mine. Everything bagel, whitefish salad, smoked trout, swiss cheese, Bermuda onion, tomato. 4 more hours till heavan Starving and thirsty at the moment.

Gut Yom Tov.

Shalom
Not a fan of the everything bagel. For me, it gets in the way of good toppings. A potato bagel or an onion bagel is the perfect foundation for lox and cream cheese, with shaved red onion, tomatoes, and capers.

Catholic here. Complete respect for the Jewish faith. The older I get, the more intrigued I get by it.
That said, tonight I made homemade chicken nuggets and chips (at the request of my daughter who got her license today). I had none of that and instead had a grilled (low sodium) ham and cheese.

Anti semitism never stops. He’s on ignore from now on.
My wife and children are Jewish. My father liberated the first work camp. I have no room in my life for losers like him. Celebrate the New Year.

I know I‘m dumb, but I think “Pork chops” was said in jest. Why must it be deemed anti-semitism? How do you know what is in his heart?

To think I was going to respond “And milk.” And I was raised Jewish.
Mocking the kosher laws on the holiest of all Jewish holidays is insulting. He played his cards. You don’t need to defend him. I do not tolerate insensitive bigots.

My sincere apologies if my comment offended anyone, it was most certainly meant as a joke. I might be an asshole, but I am not an insensitive bigot. Now go get vaccinated and wear a GD mask.
