THOUGHT I would would share some good news, since we are all depressed Franklin can not recruit or get innovative ST coaches.
Last 48 hours have been a whirlwind of emotions, Tuesday we celebrated our 25th anniversary, we are celebrating with family and friends this Saturday.
However, hanging over our heads the past 24 hours was the possibility of cancer becoming our life again! My wife is clean two years in August, but ran a fever for over a week, with worsening symptoms. She was at urgent care twice and ruled out bronchitis and strep, followed up Wednesday with PC physician who did full work up. Swollen lymph node, high blood counts(don’t ask which) had us fearful of the C. Tears were shed at work yesterday and I left early to be with kids. She was scheduled for a cat scan and follow with her oncologist at Mt Sinai in NYC.
This morning she got a cat scan with the radiation and thankfully came up clean. My relief was immense. Never thought I would be happy to hear pneumonia diagnosis, but loved the treatment simplicity.
I also has a second interview for environmental engineering position in Brooklyn, yesterday. It went really well and was offered today for a 9 month contract then hiring after should things work out. Triple pay from the Depot, longer commute to Brooklyn (car).
In 24 hours I received a job offer to renew my engineering career, given up voluntarily for my kids, and get cancer free news from Doctor! Really good news.
Thought about asking for prayers last night but was too tired.
