Asking if anyone here is a member and/or know members of this private lake association? We recently received an invite to become a member. It looks like a great place from pictures that accompanied the invite. Cost(s) for an annual membership? The lake is located in Schuykill County and approximately 70-75 minutes from our residence.

lol enjoy Hometown, great restaurant at the Tamaqua train station, best food in the county
Grew up about 5 miles from here. Never been however as I never knew any local folks who were members.
As far as I know it’s quite nice and private for members. The towns around the lake have seen better days to be kind however. If you plan to leave the lake you will be disappointed with food and entertainment options. I see the website says “Poconos” but this is in the heart of coal country.
Thanks for all responses both serious and for fun. Just to follow up: I learned some more about this place. It's beautiful and an incredible property - great for family fun. I love that the association doesn't allow motor boats and is a fishing paradise. They have a nice beach, ball fields, tennis courts, and picnic area, and the association controls 600 acres. They have two cabins on site, one that sleeps ten and another that sleeps fourteen. However, pretty expensive for the common folk, you must purchase a 'share' to get in plus other annual fees. As much as this place has to offer, to quote the Shark Tank panel: "I'm out."
