She was in a crosswalk. Where I’m from, pedestrians in crosswalks have the right of way. Yeah, she should have been more aware but I’m guessing that the bus driver is gonna have to face some volume of music.Open your eyes lady.

If she doesn’t feel a ramming bus, guys have no chance.

Driver hit the brakes hard before contact as you can see all the passengers go flying. And the bus stops at the edge of the crosswalk so he wasn't moving too fast when he hit her.She was in a crosswalk and stepped out between 2 other cars and did not even look in the direction of oncoming traffic before she stepped out. Agree the bus driver should have stopped (and he may have as you can't actually tell if she is hit by the bus). However, saying she has the right of way won't help any if she gets seriously injured or killed. The number of idiot pedestrians out there is just staggering and they are all counting on drivers not being idiots. Recipe for disaster.

But still, to get hit and fall that far.... surprised she wasn't hurt more. And if you get up from that, you take a minute or to to inventory your pieces/parts....just to be sure.
Still can't believe she didn't gesture at all to the driver.....that is usually standard instinctive reaction.
This is modern America...where no one ever admits they were wrong or takes responsibility for their actions.Maybe She didn’t gesture because she realized she was an idiot who stepped in front of a moving bus? I have a dashcam specifically for these scenarios (and bikes running redlights/stop signs).

At first glance, it looks like Broad Street down near VCU. It’s deceiving because there are two lanes of traffic to the right of the bus lane in the middle. Both lanes are stopped. I drive through there occasionally and you always have to keep an eye on the sidewalk as there are students and other pedestrians that are eager to pop out if they see an opening in traffic. From the WRIC in the upper right of the video frame, a quick Google search indicates Richmond, VA area.
That scene was complete improv. The taxi actually was trying to cut through traffic since it was an open set and Hoffman just ran with it. Though the actual scene was a remake of the original encounter with the taxi.
The MSU punter went down harder than that. At least she had a good reason!
