I'd say about five inches thus far as I just shoveled before the Steelers game. 14 miles NE of Pgh.

2 " too much here in the Williamsport area.
Close to 4" now at 9:40 pm.

maybe 1.5 inches in Chester County/Delaware state line. Turned to rain...skipped sleet stage. Shoveled a bit and wiped off lone vehicle not in garage...heavy as shit. we look to be skating by on this one as Temps are rising into the night. A cousin in the Berkshires just called to get our take...typically they follow us in a couple of hours. With colder Temps there they are gonna get it....godspeed all...from the safety of my family room hearth with beer in hand!

3" mt airy md, sleeting now, ice/rain coming with strong winds

I have 9 inches but not much snow

reports here are that the storm traveled further west than expected. CLE has about 5 inches and still storming. Hard to tell because wind is about 25 mph and there is a lot of drifting. I've got a stone patio and there is no snow on it at all. But in the front, I have easily 5 inches. Supposed to stop snowing in about an hour and a half.

Maybe a inch here south of Hartford, CT. Switched rain early morning, pretty much all slush now.

My sister who live in the south end of Erie PA sent me a photo. Looks like they got around a foot.

SE Crawford County PA, 1' on the corner of the deck railing with winds from several directions. Shoveling the drive (I do own a thrower, like the exercise) seemed to be 9" to 1'!

The one thing that I noticed is there are no kids going out and shoveling for money anymore like when I was younger. Is that a sign of the times of kids too lazy to work or not needing the money? Kind of sad

Great point, I loved to do that! I'll givem a pass as, these lots are 2/3 acres on top of a hill with no walks, just driveways. Can't say I notice any down town ever though! Only a few souls over 12 up here too!

Just watched Channel 16 news and they showed a group of kids from Canton in Bradford Cty, shoveling walks to help people out. There's still some good kids out there that aren't afraid to work.

My friends and I used to hustle the snow shoveling gig for pinball money. The old bingo card machines that you could cash out on. A long relationship with degenerate gambling was born. But great memories they were. Learned a lot about negotiating price before the work was done.

A lot more snowblowers out there than back in the day.
