I can't even begin to guess what that is. Any military or other knowledgeable people willing to decipher it for me?

some other great Navy terms for some posters:

FLOB = free loading oxygen breather
NUB = non useful body

there's another one about civilians that might be too rough for this crowd ;)

We used Bohica all the time when I was a first year resident ("intern" as some would call it). When the second year admitting resident would call you in the middle of the night after just finishing your work-up of the last admission he would exclaim "Bohica" and you know what was coming.

Other terms:

Signed out AMA YO YO MF - signed out against medical advice, you're on your own MF

PBAB - pine box at bedside

T to T Ratio - Tatoo to tooth ratio

I always heard the branches broken down as such:

NAVY = Never Again Volunteer Yourself
ARMY = Aren't Ready to be Marines Yet
MARINE = Muscles Are Required, Intelligence Not Essential

Here is another Navyism we used ( invented ) and used on the flight deck of the Eisenhower back in the 80s.

PYHOOYA. Pie - Hoo - Ya.

Any guesses? It's pretty simple.

I think I got it thanks to my wife. When I showed it to her she looked at the pronunciation and immediately said "Ya" is "your a$$". Then I figured OO had to be "out of" and the rest fell into place. Pull your head out of your a**.

We have a winner. Pull your head out of your ass. Also used with a cupped hand and fist double hand gesture.

Thanks for Playing!!
