OT: If you are a Warren Miller film fan

I agree, especially with Glen Plake runs.
My wife and daughter met Plake a few years ago (I couldn't go, sick). They said he couldn't have been friendlier.

Several years ago, we saw him at Heavenly while they were running an event where you had to ski a long bump run (can't remember trail name) 25 times. He was there stopping and encouraging exhausted skiers. He seems like a good guy.

We became friends with Chris Anthony's mother. Our locker was right near hers and we got to be friends. Didn't learn who her son was until the end of the season. When we met Chris he also seemed like a pretty good guy.

Glen Plake is a great guy. Met him at Steamboat and Squaw. Both times very self-deprecating and funny.

Dude has had a great life and can still rip

Thanks for the heads up John! The tour starts early this weekend in BozeAngeles. Missed the notices somehow. Trying to scramble and make the second show tonight. Nice dump of snow overnight and a Penn State win just right to set the mood for some sick skiing. Agree, Warren’s narration will be missed. Thanks again.
