OT: Inquirer calls for Seth Williams to resign

For not reporting $175,000 in gifts. This is the DA who took a 60-year-old couple's house because their loser son, unbeknownst to them, sold a $20 bag of cocaine cocaine to an undercover officer (and transaction didn't even happen in the house).

Thanks Jim. That's pretty damning when the police are openly advocating for a new DA. Of course this part of that Philly.com article by Chris Brennan should have gotten him fired already-

"Williams first amended his statements of financial interests in August to declare $160,050 in gifts. Monday's agreement with the Board of Ethics included $15,666 in previously unreported gifts.

Among the 89 gifts, the Board of Ethics said, were "20 gifts from individuals who had a financial interest that the district attorney was able to substantially affect through official action at the time they gave the gifts." That included defense attorneys, and employees and contractors for his office."

What in the world are the legal officials in Philly doing that they allow him to continue to be DA?? In the old days this was flatly called bribery.
