OT: Joni Mitchell found unconscious in her home. That's all I got now.*

Joni's mother-in-law was my Kindergarten teacher. At the time, Joni was

just being discovered and was married to Chuck Mitchell. She had the time and interest in coming in to introduce us urchins to music some time after milk and cookies but before our naps. I think she played for us about once per month. I was too young to remember anything she sang at the time, but I do recall it making me sleepy even back then.

I really enjoy vignettes like this. It brings a celebrity to life in a way that a hundred video clips cannot.
