OT: Kris Letang of the Penguins suffered another stroke.

The Penguins just announced this; supposedly it's not as serious as the one that he suffered in 2014. He's had a terrible season this year, so maybe he had been suffering from that for a while.

Letang trains incredibly hard. I've seen videos of some of his workouts. He's an amazing athlete, one of the fastest defenseman in the league. Hopefully the stroke wasn't severe and he fully recovers and then steps away from playing hockey.

Intriguing that one of the most conditioned athletes in the world has had multiple strokes. Would love to know any suspected cause. Family history? CTE? Steroid abuse?

Wouldn’t people in top shape have a significantly lower rate of strokes? Assuming he also had very strict, healthy diet to maintain his conditioning.
