My Kerry Blue Terrier is almost 14 and failing...lost a great deal of weight and is confused...we're thinking it's some dementia. He's got no appetite, and stares at seemingly nothing...we've been trying some prescription cognitive medication, but to no avail...my daughter, who's been a rock, says that "it's time, Dad..." I know it, but it sure doesn't make it any easier.
So, this old guy is a very very sad guy today, and though I've been through it many times for many of my "fur children", this one is extra special for us, and especially for me...I'm just asking for some prayers for my boy to have an easy trip to the Big Guy in the Sky.
