You can pencil him in as a favorite in the Masters for the next several years. He's played competitive 8 rounds on the course and has been in first most of them. He seems completely at ease at the place and seems to know where you can miss in a way many guys never manage to learn. If you want a green jacket, you'll have to go through him to get it. For TV, Spieth is a good blend. He comes off as a good, well-grounded kid, but he also has a little bit of fire to him. He isn't as flashy as Ricky Fowler, or as quirky as Bubba Watson, but he isn't cookie cutter, either. I'm with you; he's exactly what the tour and the USGA needs.Originally posted by bkmtnittany1:
A changing of the guard fellas....Spieth...Rory...Rose...Dustin Johnson...Reed....these are the names you will be hearing. Phil is still in it but on the way out, as is Tiger who I thought played great this weekend....I think Spieth is exactly what the USGA. PGA, and the TV networks needs....and the dude can PLAY!
