Posted this before but I'm back into this again. How did a four count get so cool? Must be those bass pedals.
As great as this show was, the Boston Gardens shows of this same tour were even better. One of the reasons this show grew legendendary is Betty Cantor gave the board tape out and it got heavily traded and the momentum fed on itself. No denying it’s one of the great Scarlet>Fires of all time, but check out the Boston run.

Memorial Day weekend is the kickoff to Jersey Shore summer which means Springsteen. This, this song brings me there:
I was on my way to Asbury Park with my daughter and the honey to watch the summer kickoff (very short) fireworks show and this song came on. Canned Heat - Going up the country. Reminded me of the Vietnam era and all the young men who died in that war.
