I'll be scarce for most of the next week but want to say to the McAndrew board thanks for helping make this a good year for me. I won't bore you with the details, but compared to a year ago, my family is much stronger, much happier, much more content, and much more open to all the joy and happiness available out there in this big world of ours. There were times when I was wondering if we'd ever get through our rough times, so I'm very grateful to be able to make this post tonight.

For those of you who, knowingly or unknowingly, helped me get through these recent difficult times, thank you.

I know that I myself can be a better poster and a better friend to my McAndrew brethren, so that's a goal of mine in the coming year. You all deserve that.

Very nice post Jim. You are a valued member here. This board has been a refuge for many, including me, in difficult times, and in most cases others never find out until after the fact. It is heartwarming to know that you, and your family, have faced trials and emerged the better for it. Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays, and a Happy New Year to you, those you love, and all our board brethren.

Merry Christmas Jim. Glad to hear that you are in a good place. Not sure what it is about this board, but many of us have come here for encouragement, advice or just to seek kind words when we're at our darkest and saddest times. Maybe it's the familiar anonymity we have with each other. I just know that the board has been my psychiatrist's couch a few times this year as well, without the co-pay.

Best wishes for a happy and healthy new year.
