Since retiring from teaching in May, I took a part time job at a meat store (deli meats and cheeses, fresh steaks, roasts and ground beef, pork and a lot of frozen items also) in little Pettisville, Ohio. Reminds me of the days I visited friends in Rebersburg as there is no stop light in town and the main street has one stop sign.
I digress.
Gentlemen paid today with a Penn State Alum CC. I gave a shout out with a "We Are" which seem to catch him off guard. I suggested to the owner that Penn State fans get free goods. It was suggested I show my pride and pay. His bill was $42 and change, so I passed.
He is a season ticket holder and has been since 1975. Did not get his name or place of residence, but if by chance he frequents this board, give me a shout here or at Pville Meats. We can always use more Nittany Lion fans invading Ickeys in Archbold.
