I live in the most Western neighborhood of the City of Pittsburgh, and definitely heard the boom and felt my house shake. It's amazing that an object that is estimated to have been about a yard long could create such an effect. At least it shows that the Earth's atmosphere still is doing its job.Said be the equivalent of 30 tons of TNT! Weighed about a half ton.
