OT: MLB and MLBPA reach agreement. Baseball looks like it's back

I'm afraid that the MLB gave up too much. Most of the things the players [agents] want is bad for the fans and for small market teams.

The subcommittee made up of 8 players---5 of which are Boras clients voted against. I think we know who to blame now don't we. In the end it was 26 teams voting for it and 4 against plus the 8 subcommittee members.

Baseball - by far the "major" sport I care the least about. IMO, too dadgum boring. The game needs to adapt or it's slow death will continue.

What is bad for fans? Universal DH is great for everybody under 60. Games should be 9 innings.
Putting a runner on 2nd in 10th was high schoolish. Not professional. I don't like 12 teams in the playoffs. But, that should help smaller market teams.

Like College Football, MLB games have gotten to be too long. I rarely feel like watching a game knowing that I won't see it through to the finish.

They did nothing to address the pace of play. I simply don't understand why there isn't some sort of communication between the dugout and the pitcher/catcher/fielders on which pitch will be called (hello Apple watch). If football can have a speaker in a helmet, no reason baseball can't figure something out.

Also, any mound visit (by a manager, coach, or a relieving pitcher) is ridiculous. Just play the game! Pitchers don't need 8 warmup pitches each inning.
