It's set in England and stars Matthew McConaughey as brilliant American weed dealer Mickey Pearson and an outstanding cast (Charlie Hunnam, Hugh Grant, Colin Farrell, Jeremy Strong and the stunning Michele Dockery). Excellent dialogue...if you can deal with the cockney accents. Directed by Guy Ritchie and you can see some parallels to the Sherlock Holmes series he directed starring Robert Downey Jr. Pretty cool soundtrack too! Grant and Farrell are scene stealers. The viewer needs to deal with a good bit of going forward and back and forward in time.
