OMG.....can you say....wired ? I don't know much about this guy.....what's the word on this guy as a coach?
Did anyone put him in concussion protocol? Yikes.
That is troubling. Maybe the forced pupil dilation treatment is a poor call when you have an interview on TV.
I’d be careful here...he may have Grave’s disease. Eyes like that are a common symptom.
Thats how he is. Comes and goes but mostly comes. He went to Michigan State and a buddy of mine was friends with his roommate. That and the bald head is why he always has a hat down in his eyes so you can't see them.
Side note: We would play Madden in his apartment. I thought I was good at Madden at the time, I never saw anything like him calling plays and such. For a video game and being teenagers, it was insane. We always knew he'd be a coach, absolutely fascinating to watch.
Feel bad for him today honestly, he was very uncomfortable.

The difference seems to be these guys can turn it off, and not have that bug-eyed intensity. Not sure Gase can do that. I hope he can. Btw, @NittanyOpp, please tell me his name is not pronounced "Gaze."
Wait, you were able to tell he would be a coach someday because he was awesome at Madden? Is there an actual correlation?
I’ll tell you what, I used to play Madden with a friend in high school who was amazing. He would replay plays to show me why he called the plays he did, would show me why he threw to the receiver he did. It was annoying as could be, but was a amazing at it. He went on to coach a bit in the NFL and just won a high school state championship.
Yes, we could and that was his passion. You had to be there, but im telling you, schematically etc it was insane. Turns out we were right too. Imagine that.

I had the same thought. Just heard a 5 minute bit on sports radio making fun of the guy. He didn't choose to appear that way. I feel sorry for him.
If you ever noticed, during his tenure with the Dolphins, he always seemed to have his hat pulled down on his head to shield his eyes. I wonder if there is something to what you're asking.
