soon to a stadium near you... if you live close to San Diego, Columbus, Minneapolis, Dallas, Atlanta, Orlando, Nashville, Pittsburgh,
Milwaukee, Kansas City, Raleigh, Indianapolis, Detroit or Buffalo.

I will be traveling to Bobby Dodd this summer if anyone wants to tailgate. I just hope that Keef can stay alive to finish this one out!

TheGLOV has one about the tour around here somewhere.**

I saw The Rolling Stones at The Spectrum, July 21, 1972. I paid

$6.00 for a ticket. That was when they were really, really good. There is no way I would pay to see them now, and it would probably cost at least $150.00. SUCKERS!!!

Re: I saw The Rolling Stones at The Spectrum, July 21, 1972. I paid

Inflation is a bitch.

Never mind them, Brian Wilson has a new album coming out next week, a summer tour (with a stop in Philly) and a biopic film opening nationwide June 5th! That is exciting news, if you're into BW's music that is.

I heard tickets are priced between $69.00 and $375.00.

For $69.00, bring binoculars.

He's really getting some mileage out of his unhealthy obsession.**

Richards might out live all of us. I think he made a deal with the devil. I saw a meme with a picture of Richards that read,"I outlived Davy Jones, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson and Elvis. Betcha didn't see that one coming."

First time I saw them was at JFK IN June 78. Paid 12 bucks

Told dad I was going to an Orioles game. He'd have never let me go to a Stones concert. I was only 16.

Wow, MtN, we're in agreement for once. No questinon, the best

stuff was w/ Taylor on the axe. I'll take the Brian Jones stuff after that, & pretty much could do w/o 99% of the rest.

After seeing Yes perform in intimate venues over the last 20 years, I have no interest seeing the Stones in a stadium. Been there, done that.

Saw The Stones at The Roseland Ballroom in '02...

It was an amazing concert. The only thing better than that would have been the same show in 1972 or so.

Re: Saw The Stones at The Roseland Ballroom in '02...

I loved the Stones at JFK in 1981. I also thought Goerge Thorogood stamped his presence in the music scene that day.

I would love to go back and see Yes in '72 when doing the YesSongs tour.

Thankfully, Yes has just released 7 shows from the '72 tour. For me, this is an awesome release.

How are these musicians not in the Rock n Roll HOF?

Yes Tour 1972

Watch/listen to the Brussels Affair recordings...

....amazing stuff. Mick J telling Mick T "Play guitar, boy" never gets old.

I'd spend my money elsewhere. The good times were 20 years ago. Lip and music synch is what will be seen and heard. Not worth $150+. They need to bow out gracefully and not "steal" our money. Sorry, I saw them three times in the seventies and eighties. I'll keep those memories.

Stones tour sponsored by DEPENDS underwear.

These guys are seriously way past their prime.

Re: Stones tour sponsored by DEPENDS underwear.

Wake them up when it's over.

Loving all the distaste. Yes, I'm aware they are 'over their prime'. So

are about 80% of the posters on this site.

If you don't like them, I'd suggest going to the Nickleback show. THAT is some good music! /sarcasm

Re: Loving all the distaste. Yes, I'm aware they are 'over their prime'. So

Don't take it personally. Love the Stones and still listen to them quite a bit - just this past weekend in fact. Was still amazed at how fresh and powerful the live recording of "Midnight Rambler" on Hot Rocks is. Played it 3 times. I'm half kidding about the geriatric thing. I just prefer them the way they once were. What's a Nickleback show?
