I enjoyed reading through the thread BobE started regarding Lamont Cranston. it got me to thinking about what I enjoyed most from my early radio moments.
One thing our dad taught us to appreciate ( me and Garw ) was listening to Phillies broadcasts, Richie, Harry, Tom McCarthy, Scott Franzke, Larry Anderson, Bill Campbell, Andy Musser and MJS are some of my favorites.
The Old Man always had the Phillies on the radio or TV and I love listening to baseball more than any other sport to this day.
Anybody remember the old Ballantine Beer jingle??
