OT: Pa. Police Forces "Swamped".

Funny....I predicted this three years ago. Without understanding the facts, there was a knee-jerk reaction. Next? So many reports nobody takes them seriously and they go under investigated. End result? JS leads to zero advancement in the understanding, detection and avoidance of abuse.

That is one of the most important reasons to drive to the truth.

They are swamped, so how do you think they would handle a phone call relating an untimely hearsay account of potential abuse like Paterno received? I'm guessing they wouldn't give it much priority.
Oh don't be such a cynic. I am sure they would have gave it the same priority and made the same decision that DPW did when it investigated Sandusky in 1998. But of course, DPW's inaction at that time was probably Joe's fault too.

"Sir, why are you calling to tell us that someone else saw something that made him uncomfortable last night... but what he saw didn't require him to stop it... or for him, his father, and his father's friend to call us?"
