That's possible when loading the airplane up hard in a maneuver like that, but it didn't appear to be an excessively tight pull (though not familiar with that a/c). More likely he never achieved the required altitude to complete the maneuver in the first place. Years ago a USMC Col did the same thing at a U.S. airshow in an F/A-18, smacked the ground at the bottom of the loop, though he survived.
