Pre-gaming at USC, and there are an absolute ton of PSU fans walking around all over the place. Very impressive.

Jealous that you got to go. Thought about it, but it didn't work out this year. Hopefully will in 2028.Pre-gaming at USC, and there are an absolute ton of PSU fans walking around all over the place. Very impressive.
We went to a bar called 901 before the game. It was loaded with PSU fans. Turns out, unbeknownst to our group at the time, there was a good reason for it. But, it was packed, and loud, with a "We are!" chant from time to time.Jealous that you got to go. Thought about it, but it didn't work out this year. Hopefully will in 2028.
How were the USC fans?
Anything else you can share about the game environment, and pre- and post-game festivities?
Took in the Bama - South Carolina game with a State College bud yesterday. Down on the strip one of the JoyRide Taxi like golf carts rolls up and the driver hollers to us. Turns out he was an Alabama State Champ who walked onto the PSU team last year. He quickly volunteered that he was “just a room guy”. Wrestled at 174 (ug … that’s tough sledding). I think his name was Josh Kirby, but, perhaps someone on this forum knows better. He went to Penn State for one year to learn from the best and had a nice ring to show for it.Im going to the Tennessee vs Miss st game in Nov! Hope to see you around town.
Around what town? Game's not in Lewisburg, is it? 😆Im going to the Tennessee vs Miss st game in Nov! Hope to see you around town.
So cool of you to post this. I really like hearing about fans experiences in different venues. I had heard the Bama fans were a good base all-in-all. Probably wny Paterno and the Bear seemed to be friendly to one another.Took in the Bama - South Carolina game with a State College bud yesterday. By the way, the Alabama fans were universally nice to us. A contact of ours got us into the practice facility on Friday and we got to meet DeBoar, Womack, the strength coach, players and see all their training rooms. Very high tech, glitzy beyond imagination ….. all those championship rings. Our Cael …. he’s building a Legend too!!!
He was under pressure, and they were out of FG range, so a throw-away just means a Hail Mary. He had to take off. He could've called timeout if he had stopped 2 yards sooner.OT to the OT topic, did anyone watch the Oregon tOSU game? I know the final chance for a FG was a long shot, but why would the QB run up the middle to let the clock run out and eliminate any FG chance?
Barker’s celebration game is strong.
I was there.
I saw you at the airport.
Try to enjoy the moment.Penn State has been playing with fire all season. They haven't played a single good first half all season, and have relied on flipping the switch and dominating after the break. They barely survived this weekend, and eventually, they're going to find themselves down 28-0 or something at halftime and there won't be enough time in the second half to come back. They've got to be better for all 60 minutes.
Oh, I did. It was a fun game, but this team is going to give me a heart attack this season.Try to enjoy the moment.
I worked in a kitchen for 15 years on Saturdays. I had the game on the TV but couldn't watch because I was too busy.Oh, I did. It was a fun game, but this team is going to give me a heart attack this season.

Now, I have Saturdays off and am just grateful to watch a good game.
Watching football title hopes inevitably implode is how we know the real athletic season is nearly upon us. I’m always grateful for that.
That's what I was thinking in the 1st half. "We're one week closer to wrestling season". Gotta look at the bright side.Watching football title hopes inevitably implode is how we know the real athletic season is nearly upon us. I’m always grateful for that.
Were you sitting in section 102 wearing a PSU Wrestling shirt?Pre-gaming at USC, and there are an absolute ton of PSU fans walking around all over the place. Very impressive.
Seems to me linebacker play has not been solid with new defensive scene. Numerous plays our linebackers are dropping back on snap and are too far off line of scrimmage to fill gaps. Sorry...jet lag.I was on Bourbon Street in New Orleans with a PSU shirt on, lots of LSU fans meandering around.
I few weeks ago I flew to Brussels and when I got off the plane a guy in the immigration line had a PSU wrestling shirt on, i said We Are and he looked at me funny. I said come on as I pointed to his shirt, he said, oh, yeah right…..
