I’ll do my best to make a long story short.....
I live in the Raleigh area, and I have AT&T U-Verse
Att is in contract negotiations with our local Fox station, WRAZ, and because of that, Fox is blacked out in my area.
Since the tOSU game is on Fox, this creates a conundrum.
I have a device which is Male lighting(plugs into apple device charger), to female HDMI(I run HDMI from iPad to TV). I downloaded the Fox Sports app, as well as apps from 4 other cable providers, with friends log ins/passwords. I can watch the game , but the second I plug it into my TV thru the HDMI, I can no longer watch/I get a blackout error code.
So, short of getting a digital antenna, how can I get Fox streaming on my TV?
Will a Roku work?
Anyhow, any pointers are MUCH appreciated!
DISCLAIMER.....I am on daddy detail all weekend, that weekend, so going to a bar is totally out of the question.

If on the off chance you're logging in with a FIOS account right now, it looks like they are having some technical problems with logins/authentication for streaming and apps. (I just checked their customer service twitter account)

A digital antenna is like $10.
Borrow a friend's or buy one. There's plenty of time.

Sometimes the best solution to a problem is the easiest answer and this is an example. An over the air antenna is cheap and the quality of the picture will be better than any streaming set up plus there is zero chance of buffering or other delays. Also, zero chance of being affected by cable provider contractual disputes.

Certain apps, such as NFL Mobile through Verizon, won't stream because of legalities. Not sure if that's what you are dealing with.

From my experience, a flat indoor HD antenna works okay in the city where there are signal reflections or in the close suburbs if you have a window with unobstructed line of sight to the city or a tower. I have neither, so my cheap indoor antenna performs poorly. I mounted an outdoor antenna and it works great forty miles out, but that requires being a roof monkey for a day to get it mounted high above your neighbor's house and lined up right.

I have FoxSportsGo on my Roku. It requires sign-in with provider, so that may not help you.

You mentioned that you can watch the game on your Apple device, so that isn't too bad - much better than 1990 when I bought a fancy AM radio to pickup a station ninety miles away or sit in my parked car to listen in! If your hdmi cord from Apple to tv works for FS1 but not Fox, you could try going cordless with Apple AirPlay. I use Airplay on an older third gen Apple tv and you can get those cheap now but you may have the same bleckout problem.

If it was me and I didn't want to climb the roof to mount and align an antenna, I'd just watch it on the Apple ipad/iphone or listen on internet radio. Fox does not have many Big Ten games this year like ABC/ESPN, so maybe wait a while and see if ATT and Fox can play together in the sandbox. Otherwise, switch to another provider next year or mount the antenna.

Thanks for all of the advice!
Following up.....
I called my cable company to complain.
They stated that the local Fox affiliate was handing out indoor HDTV antennas.
So, I stopped by the station, and sure enough, they were handing them out free of charge to Att customers.
Just got done hooking up the flat panel indoor HD Antenna, and it works tremendously.
Thanks for all of the sage advice.

for future consideration, Apple TV lets you duplicate anything on your apple device onto your TV. (as long as they are both connected to the same Wifi). I use it to look at photos/videos on my TV. I also watch everything from Youtube, Netflix and Amazon.
