So as part of picking my daughter from Champaign now finals are over, on the way back we stopped in C-Bus to take in the Chilli's

Great way to spend moms day, just the three of us

Will get some vids posted but the great thing that happened that night aside from our seats, was during the encores.

Goodbye Angles and Give it Away -- during Give it Away Flea giving us the "Universal Rock" sign at the end was awesome.

But probably even more awesome was Chad Smith at the end after everyone left the stage for the night-- pumping up the crowd as if to coax us into wanting one more encore...just really riling up the crowd...saying "you want one more song!!!!! " "I think you know what it s gonna be!!!!" to this point they haven't played Under the Bridge which is a staple last encore

then he breaks out into Hail to the Victors!!!! Crowd went nuts in a hail of Boos and trying to sing Battle Cry

side note his drum kit had the Michigan logo on it

Here is Dark Necessities give a sense of how close we were and how awesome Flea is. Great shot around 2:20

Very cool. Love me some RHCP. Great seats- looks like y'all had a great time. But for future reference, for god's sake, PLEASE turn your phone the other way when recording video!!!

ahh I already got the schooling from my daughter on how to properly do video on a I phone such as angle and lighting. Hopefully she has better ones saved.

Awesome, thanks for sharing! Saw them a few years ago in DC and Anthony had a leg brace on, but still, tons of energy and they sound great. Flea is amazing, and these guys have had their own original sound for decades - there is literally no one like them (I know there are some folks here who don't like Anthony's singing...ahem...but it's fine IMO). Glad I got to see them - concert bucket list down to Radiohead at this point.

Don't know if it should be part of the cover thread but they broke out Looking Glass's "Brandy"
