OT: RIP Robby Steinhardt

All the Don Kirshner's Rock Concert footage of Kansas is great. His vocal on Bringing it Back was always great live. I always think of Robbie Steinhardt with the first record. He has a nice violin solo on Can I Tell You.

My first concert was Kansas at the Villanova Field House in 1976. I saw them six times. They always put on a great live show. Pittsburgh and Philly were two of the cities where they were most popular early. I think Pittsburgh was first. Anyway, they talked about how much they loved to perform in Pennsylania.

You nailed it. I am so saddened by this one.

Saw Kansas multiple times with Robbie. Never disappointed as he always put on a fantastic show. He didn’t look well as of late so although I’m sad I’m kind of not surprised. Going to see Kansas next month at Bethel so I guess that show will have some extra special meaning. RIP Robbie.

I think he was sick last year with pancreatitis and sepsis. Thinking about taking Bethel in as well.
